WHAT IS MEDIA LITERACY AND IT'S IMPORTANT FOR STUDENT TO BE MEDIA LITERACY?
Media literacy is basically the ability of people to analyze , appraise , accessing any media forms and creating a media which is the same as critical thinking. People will ask for themselves why and what are they're watching , reading or listening. Media literacy can prevent any negative forms of media to influence people who believe what they see without thinking about it. For a student this is kind of important for example we’re reading some news who would know if it’s true because anyone can bluff about it. So, with this critical thinking we can investigate who published or posted this information , which company , and any evidence that relevant to believe it. It’s all about thinking about the contents of media.
Personal Reflection

SHORT EXPLANATION ABOUT MEDIA STEREOTYPES.
Media stereotypes a statement of racial issues that inserted into a media form such as cartoons , advertisement , newspaper and any suitable media. Media stereotypes had been happening for a long time ago because of racist attitudes in society. The stereotypes issues are mostly about race , politics , religion and terrorism. A stereotype example ; ‘black skinned man should not lives in our country’, that’s just an example for a racist stereotypes statement. To attract people they put the stereotypes statement into a dialog or something else maybe a song lyrics. That’s all my explanation for media stereotypes.

Do you often take what is on the Internet as truth without thinking much about it? If yes, why? If no, why? Discuss this in your own words.
Critical Reflection
Do i take the the information or news in the internet seriously?, I would say both yes and no .Actually it’s depends on which website are the information came from and who is the writer or uploader .I will say yes if the website is an official news website for example www.utusan.com.my and //thestar.com.my because what we read there is the same as every morning newspaper which people read.Besides these websites there a not much website that we can say yes for the information but Wikipedia is a good example for an true informative website. So the information by the official and trustworthy website can be accepted.
I will say no if some news that came from a forum or internet community because there is a lot of scammer in this kind of website.I can’t take the information 100% because I did not know where they inquire the news. I just read the news to know something but it’s not that I believe the information 100% but just to be cautios if the news it’s about disaster or something that will affect our lives.
Personal Reflection.
